My work is a recollection of source imagery as affected by yearly relocation, non fictive readings, and social media involvement. Meant as an observation on how we inhabit physical space, public and private, under the influence of an algorithmic digital realm. In my paintings are references to personal and historical symbols of spiritualities; insisting on the urgency of a return to mindfulness (namely, awareness of the self as part of a system.)

Nonexistent, flat, and suspiciously adorned interiors only depict natural space illustratively. The presence of anxious but at home figures further contemplate the self and local environments amidst digital relations, communal diaspora, and political unease. A long nosed, ultra sensory and solemn persona of the artists' self at times inhabits these spaces as a figure at once aware, complacent, and terrified.
