My work is a recollection of source imagery as affected by relocation, remote correspondence, pedestrian routing, and media consumption. Meant as an observation on our present natures within public and private spaces while under the influence of an algorithmic digital realm.

In my paintings are references to lived experiences encountered by myself and as related to by way of social and visual medias and public observation. Thus acknowledging an awareness of the self within a broader system and reducing such events to a commonality anchored by a loose association to place, both physical and digital. Every day objects meet with film stills in an amalgamation of lived and viewed interactions, forming a fabricated sense memory as I contemplate the self and local environments amidst growing online reliance and increasingly homogenized cognition.
